Surface-mounted LED channels are fixed to an existing surface using clips, screws or another compatible method.
They are practical for renovations because the cabinet, wall or ceiling does not need a deep routed slot. The full profile remains visible, so colour and surface quality influence the final appearance.
A recessed profile fits into a prepared opening. Side flanges may cover the cut edges and create a cleaner installation line.
